Best for: Flats & smaller homes

Best for: Larger homes, 2+ bathrooms

System boilers are designed for homes with higher hot water demand. They work alongside a separate hot water cylinder but don't require a cold water tank in the loft. This setup ensures a steady supply of hot water to multiple taps at once — a popular choice for larger households or properties with multiple bathrooms.

Best for: Off-gas properties

Electric boilers are an efficient choice for homes without a gas supply. Quiet, compact and easy to install, they're ideal for small properties, apartments and flats. They produce no carbon emissions at the point of use and require less maintenance. Running costs can be higher than gas.

Best for: Traditional / older homes

Also known as regular or heat-only boilers, conventional systems are perfect for homes with traditional heating setups. They use both a hot water cylinder and a cold water storage tank — typically in the loft. They take up more space but provide reliable flow and work well with older radiator systems.
